Commercial studio photographer, cinematographer and UCSD Digital Arts Center instructor David Max Steinberg enjoys a reputation for consistently delivering remarkably intimate, “no nonsense” photojournalism and portraiture. His efficient, low-key work style has earned him a reputation among celebrity, political and corporate clients. He owns and operates “Studio 326”, a San Diego portrait photography studio. He is quickly becoming San Diego’s most sought after celebrity portrait photographer for his easy going manner and ability to set busy people at ease.
David recently photographed the wedding of Warner Brothers “Smallville” star Tom Welling, and he has filmed or photographed celebrities including Hillary & Bill Clinton, Donald Fagen, Lee Ritenour, Abe Vigoda, Thelonious Monk, Earl “Fatha” Hines, jazz alto player Charles McPherson, former US Secretary of State Dr. Robert Reich, “Kiss” Lead Singer Paul Stanley, singer/songwriter James Taylor, TV producer Larry David, Kathleen Kennedy, Art Buchwald, Walter Cronkite and others.

David welcomes studio and location photography assignments of all kinds and enjoys unique photographic challenges.
